This one is for HomeVision users that are VB etc programers.  Is it possible t knock up an app that could take a couple of fields from my Outlook Contacts database and automatically create the lookup file required for HV CID names.  Here's a cut and paste from the HV help files...

"Caller ID Name Lookup

HomeVision can do a caller ID name "lookup".  When a call is received, HomeVision will look in a special file for the caller's phone number.  If it finds it, it will use the name you've associated with it, instead of the name provided over the phone line.  To use this feature, create a text file named "cid_name.txt" and put it in the same directory as the HomeVision program.  Edit the file t include the number and name of potential callers in this format:

       555-726-8864 = Custom Solutions
       555-973-6547 = Jane's parents
       555-345-2388 = Bill's parents

This is useful when your caller ID service only sends you the caller's number, as you can associate a name with it.

If you selected the option to display the phone number exactly as it is received, enter the phone number here exactly as it is received and displayed by HomeVision.
