That may be it, I will unplug other X10 devices t eliminate a noisy device. BUT 'Home Control' RF remotes/mini timers work fine.

This may be my ignorance of X10,  the 7243AH does not 'buffer' the commands, eg if I send B - 3 - On, it will send the 'B' as soon as it receives the B, then send the 3 when it receives the '3', then send the On when it gets the On ??? Not as I assumed, it would buffer all three and send them as one string/command???

mmm..

So its best to get the delay as short as possible to avoid interference.

Maybe I will go about this a different way with an IR device on the PC to receive IR and send X10 via PC X10 device, that way ALL transmission will be from one source. Is this the right way to go?

Thanks!

Craig

Do what I did when debugging mine ... make the delays about 1.5 seconds and close then d wn from there.

Also, make sure that there have been no other transmissions of house/unit codes between the house/unit code for the item that you want to control being issued from the Pronto and you hitting Dim/Bright as then the Dim/Bright command will go t the wrong device.

(That was a real problem with my CCF originally as I found that some Dim commands were being sent to the appliance module controlling my video scaler rather than the LD10 controlling the lights.)

Hi Craid,

I have the same problem with mine I just recently bought.

It works if you press the buttons in sequence but not in a button macro even with 0.2 seconds between commands.

Very frustrating to say the least.

Hi All

Just received my 'All House' IR-X10 device from LetsAutomate, and cant get the device to work via IR (Pronto).
All buttons on the on the IR7243AH work fine 100% of the time (ie No IR)
When I press house code on remote, this works 100% of the time (one flash on LED)
When I press unit number on remote, this works 100% of the time (two flashes on LED)
However, when I press on/off/dimmer buttons on pronto I only get it to work 10-20% of the time, and LED only sometimes flashes.

I have tried the ccf's on the floppy, and d wnloaded some others from remote central, same problem.
I have fully charged pronto, moved pronto to within feet of the IR7243AH, same problem.
I dont have a plasma (yet!).

Im sure its something real simple, and maybe one of you guys who has this device could point me to a solution, or any tips, urls etc??

Is the non-All House version more reliable?

TIA

Craig
