This thermostat is likely t  be a frost protection stat - t  protect the
pipework from freezing in winter.  Replacing it is NOT advisable.

CH thermostats generally switch 240v, unless they are linked up with a
dedicated (usually intelligent) controller that has LV (low voltage)
inputs/sensors.

You need to automate the internal thermostat (if you have one).  If not
