The only thing I find with the Marantz is that it tends to crash and
restart a fair bit, never happened with the Pront but they are both the
1MB versions, not the newer 2 meg ones.

Subject: [ukha_d] Pront or Marantz, which one is best?

I am looking t purchase one of those nice snazzy LCD programable
remotes...

Either the RC5000i from Marantz or the TSU2000 from Philips.

Has anyone used either of them and can give me a few pointers t why
they
like their model.

I have read the review on Marks site, but what I als want to know is
how
compatible are they. I have seen quite a few files for the Pront but
very
few for the RC5000i.

I am als going t by an IR t X10 interface at the same time form Lets
Automate. The RC5000i looks like a great bargain as I can get it, the
docking station included and the IR-X10 for the same price as the Pront

and docking station only.

Regards for now
Dave...
