Hi All,

This is what I want t do.

Using VB6 I want t grab a snapshot from a webcam and save it to file as
<whatever>.jpg

At the moment I dont have a webcam so dont have any limitation on choice
other than "bargain" ;-)

I know the webcams come with their own applications but I want something I
can hook int without the manufacturers application being visible.

Anyone done similar and if s have you got any recommendations for webcam
hardware?

Would also be nice if I could make my application dual purpose so that it
could choose t take the image from a capture card but primary requirement
is for the webcam.

Thanks

Keith
