Sounds like the driver for the Speedway doesn't like IRQ Sharing. (normally
stuff on IRQ 11 shares this IRQ, and let the drivers sort it out.)

Two things: check in the manual, and make sure the slot the Card is in
doesn't share an IRQ at the hardware level with something like the Video
Card, secondly either physically try a different slot, or use the BIOS to
assign a different IRQ to the Card.

Other than that, it's worth checking that the Speedway is okay.

It's basically just an AVm Fritz!PCI Card, and they have diagnostic
software
for download at www.avm.de
