If you use Diodes it will sound absolute ****.

diodes only allow current to pass in one direction, audio is alternating
current.

You need to isolate the two PC outputs from each other otherwise the silent
output from one would short the output of the other. Use the diagram below
but use a 1K resistor instead of the diodes. That will create a
"passive
mixer" and prevent any harm coming to either PC.
