or you get a cheap DJ mixer and do it that way, this will allow multiple
inputs and a single output and will allow you to alter treble mid and bass
for all imputs along with gain and line level.

Isn't this going to cut out half the audio waveform and anything below 0.7
volts?
Just hooking two audio sources to one input is going to do nothing worse
than (possibly) overdrive the input by a maximum of 3db surely?
