Yes, kicked off 24/7+

Not a warning. No chance to curb usage. Not offer of another product.

I don't feel i have the need for the speed of ADSL.

I have started looking at other ISP it seems they either charge more &
no
restriction or less and clearly state the restrictions. Plusnet got it
wrong.
