well I will have two krone boxes at least soon and it is surprising how
quick the Us in a cabinet get used up. My comment on your 5 boxes was
trying
to figure out what you would use them all for?

so far in the cabinet....
2 x 3U 48 Port Cat 5 Patch Panels
2 x 1U Synthesised UHF Multichannel Inserters
4 x 1U 24 Port Voice Patch Panels
1 x 3U Cable Management Panel

so thats 15U used although I doubt I will ever need all the ports.

I am looking out for a couple of rackmount servers (for HA and AV
purposes),
a rackmount UPS, 3 or 4 19 inch shelves (some of my kit isn't 19 inch), a
19
inch KVM Switch and a rackmount 10/100 switch with at least 24 ports. If
anyone has any of these items surplus to requirements please let me know.

Once that lot is in I won't have much of the 42U left.

Basically I got tired of having things scattered all over the house so the
cabinet is in my spare bedroom/office and I intend putting as much of the
HA
and AV equipment in it as possible. If /when I extend the house and convert
the loft I will resite it to either the loft (my workshop/office) or the
Home Cinema room.
