How about some 25W Power Resistors (the alumininium clad ones) riveted to a
sheet of Aluminium. Place the aluminium on the rear of the mirror and drive
from a high current low voltage source. Plate will get warm and heat the
mirror. Safe, low voltage, cheap.

You cant use a single point of heat or the mirror may crack hence the use
of
multiple resistors distributed around the plate which then dissipates the
heat more evenly.

Aren't there any low voltage options for heating behind bathroom mirrors? -
Can't be that difficult surely?

- I remember having one of those car lock de-icer thingies that ran off a
single AA battery and would get too hot to touch within about 10 seconds
when operated...

How much heat can it need to demist a bathroom mirror? - aren't there any
car window demister kits available as add-ons that could be stuck to the
rear surface of the glass?
