What I do to get round this with my IR->X10 transmitter is I use
Misterhouse
as an in between stage. I use the single housecode IR7243 and my Pronto to
send IR sequences to MH which then interprets them and fires out the
correct
X10 commands to the intended devices. You can see more clearly what I mean

I've just rejoined the MH list, I left a while ago for some reason, and
never
bothered rejoining.
