I've just looked in my music directory on my server and there are 35000
.tmp
files of the form TMP***.tmp is that what you are talking about. They seem
to have no effect so I have deleted the lot. I can now no longer produce
any
of these files through normal use of the DDAR so I wonder if they might
have
been produced when the unit had an incorrect .arf file and was stuck on the
initialise screen. Of course this same directory is accessed by winamp and
MusicMatch so one of them could have been creating crap. I will now monitor
this directory from time to time to see if any tmp files appear again.
Apart
from this I hace not noticed any strange files and playlists work
perfectly.
