When we were students someone knocked on our door late at night and
said, "Err, hello, can I have a bag of grass". We told him to
sling his
hook, and said we didn't know how he got the idea we might have some,
and he therefore pointed out the purple glow from our roof.
We thought we'd got all the gaps, but clearly hadn't let our night
vision improve sufficiently. He helped us locate the chinks we'd
missed, and confirmed we'd stuffed the bin bags into the right place,
and he left a happy man. :-)
