The software tends to fall over frequently but the hardware is rock
solid. I talk to mine using a microcontroller and it has never been reset
for over 8 months now.
Go for it. It is great fun watching the wind speed and temp during the
winter (I know I am sad but I like gadgets like the rest of
you)
