I did contact un-wired Ian to ask if they had
a
solution without the router/modem. They ignored my enquiry
:-(
Thanks for your telephone call though - very
useful
information!

ePods and ipaq whats the best?
I am using the Orinoco stuff from www.un-wired.co.uk without problems in
my pods. I cannot say about the iPaq. Didn't Mark McCall ask this
same question - maybe he got an answer. The unit from Orinoco is the
RG1000
which also has a modem built in, DHCP and NAT. I realise these are
redundant in your case. I have been pleased with mine so far. The range
is
not brilliant through walls but it covers the ground floor of my house
and
most of upstairs. Pricing is reasonable too.
