I think the "proper" Compaq one for my M300 was about £45 ... I
would look
more carefully but you know how it is ... you order a £45 power lead and
suddenly the bill is £260. Can't have anything to do with the extra life
battery that I lobbed onto the order or the 20Gb 2.5" IDE hard disc
can it?

I'm just wanting to power the CD writer...
