This is kind of related to the question I asked last week around line-out
distances.

As I mentioned, my "whole house audio" consists of extending
speaker wires
to the extremities of the house. What I really want (with minimum effort)
is to be able to control the volume individually at each pair of speakers'
location.

Is this possible? I have been known to use a soldering iron in the past,
but I'm clueless as to circuit design etc, but I could build something if
it
was relatively straight forward. Any "off the shelf" black boxes
I can buy
for this?

Cheers

Andy
