I do get interference on the kitchen telephone. I can't say what
cable is used for this but it does run perpendicular to the
transmitter!

When I had the place rewired I had the electrician run telephone
points and coax to the principal rooms. If I had known then
what I know now...

Thanks for the sensible advice about trying a dry run with the cable.
