Just think carefully about what you'll use it for - I got a Cassiopeia
about 6
months ago, which has a good colour screen, can play MP3's and does a load
of
other things that I've never used it for, and probably never will. The
only
features I regularly use are the calendar (syncs with Outlook2000, so
that's
handy), the contacts list and occasionally the calculator.
Obviously it's a gadget, so the temptation is to go for the shiniest,
flashiest
model, but if I could rewind, I'd go for a monochrome Palm V, as they're
much
more compact, always seem to synchronise OK, and have exactly the features
I
need.
then again, I still haven't got round to setting up my Pronto properly, so
maybe
it's just me ;-)

Hi all
Friend bought a Palm Vx last week and it's LOVERLY!! Put me in the mood
for
a PDA ( even got out my old Nokia 9000i). After a quick look round I have
looked at the following....
The GOURGEOUS iPAQ (Colour, huge memory, MP3, expansion, but 400 quid and
out of stock all over)
http://www.compaq.co.uk/products/handheld/pocketpc/index.stm
Mitsubishi Mondo (GSM GPRS and PDA in one!)
http://www.trium-gsm.com/products.asp?action=getMore&id=33
Anyone got any advice?
Thanks
M.
Please note, the "L" word has not been used anywhere in this
message :-)
