Here is my results for NTL cable modem in Belfast

From West Coast:

Your download sp;GÆZ: 392942 bps, or 392 kbps.
Browsers would show : about a 47.9 k/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 121599 bps, or 121 kbps.

From East Coast

 

Your download speed : 572036 bps, or 572 kbps.
Browsers would show : about a 69.8 k/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 122887 bps, or 122 kbps.

not bad ;)

Just for anyone who's thinking of getting a Blueyonder cable modem, here's my result for the megapath server:

Your download speed : 408940 bps, or 408 kbps.
Browsers would show : about a 49.9 k/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 89887 bps, or 89 kbps.

 

The ADSL result was very impressive! but I heard you can't run servers on the BT package?
