I have similar questions (still - as I haven't spent enough time
reading/thinking upon it).
- Presumably a normal momentary push-button switch, changes the
lights status to the alternate state (on-off, off-on). [Sorry, never had
one]. When combined with potentially remote-controlled (X10) lighting,
these normal push button switches simply toggle the lighting state.
- I've seen some X10 push button switches (I think), which toggle
through on, dim down, off, dim up, or something like that.
Has anyone here actually done away with switches altogether ?
