In my experience the Maplin shops dont sell enough electronic bits

Either the item I want isnt stocked...or if it is...they have 3 of them.

I know they cant stock everything but all I was buying was Right Angle

Plugs. I wanted 4 to go on the leads I urgently needed to make up. How
do=20
you connect one and a half leads to a mixer !!!

Tandy's downfall was that they effectively turned into a Dixons shop=20
selling the same limited range of stuff to the masses a cut throat prices.=
=20
Maplin shops seem to be heading the same way unfortunately...at least
the=20
one in Norwich is.

That's funny, because the one in Blackburn closed a while ago, then
re-opened in the same place, under a different name "Tandy
something"=20
rather
than just Tandy. The only difference being they dont sell the electronic
bits anymore :-(
