I had problems with a television blocking X10 signals to nearby sockets.
Fitting an X10 filter cured it. I think you have to unplug the suspect
equipment, not just switch it off, to eliminate it.

Subject: [ukha_d] X10 reliability
Classification:
Hi,
After moving the TW7223 closer to the consumer unit, it made no improvement
to my problems. Then i suspected my lynx-10 but as that has been changed to
comfort this can be ruled out.
I experience a total block that only seems to be evenings but can also work
ok for days. My first suspect was the TV but switching this off seems to
make no difference. I can't seem to see a pattern to suspect another
particular appliance.
Is it possible to experiance any block from outside the property. Should i
now be looking at a whole house blocker ?
Any suggestions please.
Steve.
