Hi Stuart

You seem to have come to the same conclusions as me but
I'm still no nearer knowing if there's any difference between
FTP and STP!

I can't find anything that tells me what kind of screen you get
when you buy STP.
I can see FTP cables described as having a wrapped foil screen in the
form of a metallised tape or an aluminium foil tape.

I'd like to know if STP has what I would call a "proper" screen
in
the form of a braided screen as opposed to the foil wrapped one.

I can also see some expensive cables that have both a foil wrapped
and a braided screen
