Easy answer ... probably not, if it's an IRDA interface (which I assume it
is) that your Lattitude has then it's highly unlikely that that can be
driven in such a way as to produce IR remote control signals.

Dell Latitude (with built-in IR) to work in a Pronto-esque way as a clever
remote controller?
