I've recently got a Palm Pilot M100, and had wondered if it would be
possib=
le to use a palm as the device in each room to control and display HA
thing=
s going on.

Seems you can pick a new palm up for about =A3100, which already has the
to=
uch screen, serial interface, infrared and able to be programmed.

Problems I wondered about were how to have lots of palms connected to the
H=
A PC elsewhere, using the USB versions with a USB hub would probably work.

It would also probably be best to wire power from elsewhere otherwise the =
battery life of the palms would be rather short.

Saves on all the building the devices also ;).
