Sure as I can be. You can combine a DVI input with a specially modded DVD
player, and bypass the analogue stages completely. Take a direct digital
feed off the disc.

Sounds the same as the Visioneer screens .... they're Fujitsu panels with
SDI inputs added I believe.

Are you sure it's a DVI input you're wanting as DVI is more inteded for PC
displays?

Yes, it is in a round about way. You sowed the seed. Fujitsu do manufacture
a display with built in DVI board, but unfortunatley it is low-res for
display rather than FMV use.

Is this following up on my post about modifying DVD players to output the
digital signal for display straight through to capable devices (plasma
displays)?  Just curious!

Apparently you need to hold on tightly to your socks.....!
