Re: Re: [OT]Proxy Software with multiple dialup numbers

The FLoppy Isdn 4 Linux does not require any L knowledge. You create a disk
under windows by editing a config.txt file using notepad. The difficult bit
is gaining the right hardaware and settings. My problems being the old
legacy ISA PNP PCI mix but with the correct bios settings it worked a
treat.
Anything 486 8 meg RAM will do and only requires a floppy. No
mouse/keyboard
and the monitor can be swapped for a LCD on the parrallel port. Also has a
windows util to monitor it.

I used to think the few seconds dialup/handshaking (wingate/win98) was due
to my ISP but this thing can connect as fast as text can scroll up the
screen.

It is so reliable i have moved it to the cellar. The rest of the PC's are 3
floors up.

Steve.
