I'm at the first fix stage of a self build and I'd like
to get some opinions on the possible use of Din rail mounting
appliance units.

Can anybody suggest where or what I might consider using these
units for?

I must admit that I'd prefer not to use the plug in units if
at all possible and I'm tempted to "star" wire the power circuits
in the same way that I am doing for the lighting circuits.

I'm aware that the majority of the list members are retro-fitting
X10 but I'd like to get some ideas about what members of the list
would do if they were starting from scratch with a house shell.

Many thanks

Tracey
