I've done some research over the week end, and have decided to order ADSL
from http://www.freedom2surf.net. It
comes with a fixed IP and is fully
unrestricted. Since installing ISDN two years ago I disconnected my
analogue
phone lines, so have had to get BT in to reconnect one before I can order
ADSL. If you pay annually it works out at a shade under 50 quid a month
including VAT.
I've also ordered some Compaq Wireless LAN stuff to connect one further PC,
and my iPAQ using wingate - I'll report back on that when it arrives.
Any suggestions for cheap (free) firewall software?
Tim.
