Go for DIN Rail dimmers for all of the lights.  If you want to use LD11' s
for lamps I would suggest you put in a 5 Amp circuit which is becoming a
practice once again, using the small round pin plugs so that you don't plug
in appliances to a dimmer controlled circuit.

I don't see how you can put 2 AD10's onto a double socket, since they are
integral in the socket.  If you wanted to have two separate controls at
this point you would have to use two separate sockets close together.

Are you really going to use more than 256 individual codes?  I doubt it.
Whatever you do make sure that you star wire as much as possible, that way
you will future proof as much as possible, so that when X10 is replaced you
can then use any new version which would need star rather that ring
circuits.
