Wired my subwoofer up to a wall socket last night.  I had run 2 lengths of cable from the back of the AV system to two corners of the AV room while building to give me a choice of location (or the option for two subs later).

There are two inputs on the sub although the output from the amp is mono.  An email to REL confirms that this is OK but that I should feed signals into both the subs inputs as this will increase the gain.  I bodged up (don't you just love Scrap Heap Challenge!!) a temp thing last nigh to check it all works - which it does.  I have just soldered a link across the two sockets at the back as this is tidier than using a Y-adapter on the visible side.

Can anyone point me to a source for a nice in wall set of phonos?

Thanks

M.
