The best place for this will be the ceiling of our hall.  There is a small
gallery at the top of the stairs and the ceiling of the downstairs hall
runs
right to the top of the first floor (do you know what I mean?).

Anyway...The loft is right above it so it will just be a matter of fixing
it
to the ceiling and wiring from above.
