This "fact" was first posted in this group on the 9th October,
picking up from an article in "Wired" that claimed this...

I seem to remember hearing somewhere that the Sky version would
automatically be able to skip adverts, unless the advertiser paid a bit
extra which would cause that advert to be recorded.  Not sure if this was
just a rumour or fact.
