I initially disabled mine because you had mentioned problems, but it's been
running happily now for a while (ie months) without ever reporting a line
fault.  Maybe you are on a different exchange type, or HH analogue ports
respond in a funny way to testing- sounds like something KeithD should know
:-) .

ISTR that testing is often carried out overnight, which would be a likely
explanation.  I can imagine that overnight line fault alarms could make a
serious dent in the WAF...
