I don't know what "WinLinux" is, but I do use RedHat Linux for my
HA.

I don't use a package as such, but I did start off with Misterhouse
www.misterhouse.net Misterhouse is good, but it's a little overblown for my
needs, so I just write my own Perl scripts (based on MH scripts if they
exist)

I don't use it for any X10 stuff (though MH will handle it, as well as the
iButton stuff discussed on the list recently) lights turning on by
themselves scares the hell out of my other half :-)
