My BT Internet connection doesn't cut off even thought they are supposed to
have a 2 hour limit.  Seems modem useres are much more likely to be cut off
though.

If if you are cut off at 2 hours you just dial straight back in.  I use a
programme caller "Dialer 2000" that will automatically re-connect
if I am
cut off.

I read recently that 60% of the newly announced 24/7 ISP deals would NOT be
cutting their customers off after an allotted time.
