First Bit of Kit.

I got my first bit of X10 kit yesterday, One of the HomeControl stater
kits (1xCM12U, 1xAM12U, 1xLM12U). I spent all last playing with it.
I left the Light unit alone for a while, and had a play with the
Appliance Unit, but when I came to set the light to come on in the
morning, it wouldn't work. I had no control over it. I'm going to get in
touch with HomeControl and see what they suggest. Has anyone else had
similar problems?
I didn't plug anything untoward into the lamp unit, just a lamp with a
100W bulb.
