As a fledgling member of this, one of the things I have noticed is the
number of standards and methods involved and or mentioned in Home
Automation. John's mention of yet another (CAN) has prompted me to
ask...

Does anyone have a list of the various methods of control? X10, CAN for
instance. I'll compile a list from the replies I get and knock up a web
page together with links to the various sites.
