Hi Paul,

I did get loads of brochures from several hotel chains but couldnt find any
that would suit the purpose. The general consensus was that 50 pounds per
night was the most people were willing to pay. Unfortunately the hotels in
and aroung London were 70-90UKP per night. Birmingham came close at around
52 per night. but in both those cities meals were extra. The hotels doing
"all in" for 50 pounds or under were all in the North of England or
Scotland. Nice hotels but difficult for many people to get to :-((

Another major downer was the fact that the prices were per person based on
2
people per room with no mention of how much the single person suppliment
was. That would push the price even higher.

I dont think a "standard" break from a hotel is going to be the answer.
When
I get the chance I will contact some of the chains to find out about a
themed leisure break for a group of HA nutters :-))

Mark mentioned to me about an exhibiton taking place in London at the end
of
March beginning of April next year. I cant find the details at the moment
so
I dont know if it is trade or public but if Mark has anymore info that
would
be good.

If it is a public exhibition then maybe that woul be a good time/place to
try and organise the get together.

Still looking forward to meeting people ;-))
