One of the reasons I started this group was because I had suggested a UK
home Automation newsgroup (and indeed had gone down the road to creating
it).  I got some opposition to this and realised that all my work in
setting
it up could have been ruined by a tiny group of people who (for whatever
reason) didn't want it created.  So....I decided to pull out of the lengthy
creation process and setup the mailing list instead.

Personally I would welcome a UK HA news group.
