Re: plea for help with
Homebase (or another DIY shop) do a spray plastikote type stuff. We've
used white and silver in the past and been very pleased with the finish.
It's glossy (don't know whether they do matt) and gives a fairly thick
sort of plastic coat over what you spray, which may make it unsuitable
for closing mechanisms on CDROM drives etc.
