Hi,

I'm in the process of building a new house about 150 metres from my
place of work. I want to setup a link from the house to the office
computer system but this involves crossing an A-class road so running
cables the entire distance is out of the question. I can find plenty
of apparantly suitable radio modems (RS232 interface) on the web
but they all seem to be in the USA.

Does anyone know which frequencies are legal in the UK so I can import
a pair without fear of prosecution? Can anyone recommend any
particular manufacturers?

Regards,

Chris.
