Re: Face to Face

Taking the Face to Face idea a bit further.....

What are peoples views on a UKHA Mini Convention?

There are many regular contributors to this list that I personally would
like to meet.

An out of season weekend break at a convienient location in the UK would
give most people on this list the opportunity meet face to face for the
first time and put faces to the names. A great many ideas could be swapped
and different view discussed into the small hours.

Anyone got suggestions for a possible location.
How far would you be prepared to travel etc?
When would be a good time?
How much are you prepared to spend on accomodation?
Would you like the opportunity to see HomeAutomation equipment "in the
flesh" before you buy?

To avoid clogging the list you can mail me direct on
keith.doxey@xxxxxxx
and I will feedback the results to the list in a couple of weeks.

Very general I'm afraid - if you want to meet for a drink in London one
evening, then I'm happy to come and bounce ideas apart. I'm _not_ a
professional, though, just a keen amateur...

In fact, thinking about it, that offer extends to any one else who works
in London --- why don't we try meeting face-to-face at some point?
