I can understand that. I believe the market for this type of Media
Center
application lies in shipping it as a complete system, software,
hardware
the lot, all locked down. If it ships as a complete solution it will
go
like hot cakes but as a software solution to build on to any old PC
setup,
it wouldn't be worth the hassle.
It comes down to the what is expectable to have sitting in your lounge,
with the xbox they made an attempt to move towards this type of thing
hifi
style and away from computer games console. The Media Center concept
is
sound it just need more time to mature in to a everyday piece of kit
such
as happened with they VCR then DVD
