What's the difference between doing it on a PC or an xbox.

On these issues a lot of serious HA's are not going to be happy with an all
in one solution, the same way that a lot of the group have separate hifi
equipment and plasma screen we like the best in life.  As for Joe bloggs on
the street well does he want 4 or 5 boxes with loads of wires and different
setups.

I think not ... my two best devices are the tivo and Homevision, why cos
they work and when you unplug and plug them back in they still work, they
work exactly as it said on the box and were simple to setup.  Give me a
black box in the corner that plays the music, records the tv, stores my
photo album, records my security camera pictures, plays games, controls the
lights and curtains and has a simple easy to use interface over a cupboard
full of different boxes and manuals anyday.

With busy lifestyle many people don't want quality nowadays they want
convenience instead.  I don't think the Media Center is there yet but give
it a few years.

S.
