Gordon,
The kit comes with a CM12U. The protocol is freely available from X-10, but
it's a bit of a pain in the backside to program for. You might be better
off
either using the Homeseer ActiveX control, or using Homeseer and doing your
programming through scripting.
Cheers,
Steve

Subject: [ukha_d] Another X10 question
Hi again,
After recommendation, I am pondering purchasing the following kit:
http://www.protectdirect.tv/iashop.php?function=viewprod&ID=21
which should give me the modules I need to have a basic test rig for my
software. I would appreciate it if someone could identify the Interface
Module that is bundled with this kit, and indicate whether it's suitable
for my purposes (i.e. has a freely available protocol sheet that I can use
to implement software, or better yet, freely available code that I can use
directly). I called their sales line, and they weren't able to tell me.
I suspect that this is the CM12U, or the XM10U - it would presumably be
better if it was the former, rather than the latter..
Thanks for your help.
