Pity about the
noise. The last PC I tried to install in the lounge suffered with the
same problem, even though it was being marketed as a “home
appliance” type device. Anyone reached the holy grail of silent PC
installs yet ?
Back to your post – PowerDVD seems OK. No experience of WinDVD.

end I got the following:

problem was squeezing the DVD in, the power connector was snagging
