If you
open up the properties for the service in the control panel, you can change
the
user that the service runs as - so if you set it up as admin, you could
change
the service to run as admin....this might get around your registration
probs.

Again, same as the homeseer service. My DDAR service works
fine.
Find SRVANY.EXE and create a
ddar_service.reg file from the text below. Run the .reg file, and it will
run
as a service on next reboot.
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DDAR]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DDAR\Enum]

I tried these on win2k server
to
get DDAR server software running as a service, but it doesn't work due
to
the fact that it needs to interact with the screen. I don't have
homeseer
but it might suffer from the same problem. If by any chance someone
knows
how to run DDAR server software as a service I would be very
interested.
